What makes Visanto’s MAG PRO dietary supplement so unique?

MAG PRO contains a patented form of magnesium L-treonate – Magtein®. It is one of the few forms of magnesium which, thanks to its lipophilic structure, crosses the blood-brain barrier, as demonstrated in a preclinical study [5].

MAG PRO also utilises a complex of four organic magnesium salts – succinate, citrate, malate and pyruvate. As organic forms, they are characterised by higher bioavailability than inorganic magnesium salts [4].

Properties of magnesium

As a result, it helps, amongst other things, to reduce feelings of tiredness and fatigue [2]. Magnesium aids normal muscle function, helps maintain electrolyte balance and supports normal psychological functions. It is also responsible for around 300 biochemical reactions in the body. Furthermore, magnesium aids normal protein synthesis and plays a role in the normal process of cell division [3]. 

Enteric-coated capsules – effectiveness where you need it 

The MAG PRO dietary supplement has a simple formulation. It contains no colourings, preservatives or fillers.

The enteric-coated capsule technology used ensures that the capsules do not break down in the acidic environment of the stomach. This allows the product’s ingredients to be released in the small intestine, which is the main site of mineral absorption. 

The capsule shell is made from plant-based cellulose. The product contains no ingredients of animal origin, meaning it is suitable for people following a vegan or vegetarian diet.
